Our Educational Visits, or ‘Ed-Ventures’ focus on delivering quality education and activities to children of all ages in an outdoor setting.
We aim to help children to be active in the outdoors. They can develop resilience, confidence and social skills through interactions with ourselves, each other and nature.
- Elle Mount-Kingett leads the sessions. Elle is a qualified teacher, Hampshire County Council outdoor leader and qualified in outdoor first aid.
- We complete detailed risk assessments. Staff are trained to dynamically risk assess on the day, ensuring that all activities are suitable for the children in our care.
- Our staff are all education professionals. They have years of experience working with young people including those with specific educational needs and behavioral or emotional problems.
- All of our staff are also DBS checked and fully insured.
Our Ed-Ventures take place in all weather conditions. Therefore, children need to be prepared to wade through puddles in the rain or shelter under a tree in the sunshine. We plan and adapt our activities to take the weather into consideration.
